BIOGRAPHY

Sarah Hatton was born in Wolverhampton, England, and raised in Barbados before moving to Canada. She received a BFA from Queen’s University, where she was awarded the prestigious Chancellor’s Scholarship, the first prize of its kind awarded to a student of fine art.

She received her MFA in Painting from the Univerity of Calgary, where her thesis work was nominated for the Governor General’s Gold Medal.

Sarah lives and works in Chelsea, Quebec, one of Canada’s most artistic and environmentally-friendly communities.
