COVID-19 will infuse in us a new appreciation of ritual, of procedure, of patterns and repetition.

Our respect for exponential growth patterns will deepen, as we will have witnessed both the speed at which doubling a number quickly becomes overwhelming, but also how slow this duplication feels at the beginning.

20 seconds will mark time very differently, once we reach the point where we can have 2020 hindsight. It will be written into our collective muscle memory, as we remember how we all counted to 20 to stave off an invisible threat.

When we realized how many of us there were, when we were told to stay away from each other.
